Have you recently purchased a device online and noticed that your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered to an ‘Access Point’? If you have, please don’t freak out, everything is okay. This typically means:
- The postal service delivered your package to an access point due to the address being undeliverable. (For more information visit UPS direct site for more information).
- A customer has requested to have their item delivered to a UPS Access Point in order to help ensure the safe delivery of their package.
(These photos depict examples of tracking numbers that show “delivered to access point”)
If your package is delivered to an Access Point it will always be available for pickup and the address provided on the tracking website used in order to deliver the order. (This can be seen in the example photos above as well). In order to receive your package all, you will need to do is locate the access point and provide them with a valid driver’s license.
